I think I ran into a group of halo kids last night. I kept running into a couple of them who had their weapons pointed straight up and doing 360's. I promptly shot them in the face with a scarab. I have noticed try hards from COD starting to filter in.

I had alot of I-Hate-My-Team moments last night and today playing crash site. It seems my team did not understand you have to control the pod to win. I was the only one going for the pod we won but I believe I had all the pod capture points LOL. *Facepalm*

Oh Well I had 5 MVP sessions out of 7

I played Black Ops, and I play now Crysis 2 (I sold BO to buy BadCompany 2..great game)..and the only thing I can say, is...I'm a bad player, in BO, BC2, C2 and any shooter, with a PAD :D I can't get the sight "locked", seems like I'm drunk or as I had an apilectic attack when I enter in combat :D

Admitedly i am learning the game. But, I have a few questions for the forum. Current level: 28-9/11/12

1. Why are other players semmingly honed in on me while I am cloaked? The seem to see me, or see my nametag move on the killcam.

2. Why does it look like some player have instant aim/lock on headshots? Looks like quick scoping.

The cam is showing a triangle, or sometimes a hole name, purched/cloked/moving along the map. Is there a module that they are using that I have to counter, or suit feature that I am not deploying?

1. your not completely invisable in cloak, in certain light spectrums your visable.

2. Thats Aim Assist for you and this game practically hands out headshots on a silver platter to pray and sprayers.

thx for responding.

So you are saying that I should look at the lighting of the places where this is happening and learn from that? Also, is there a counter to the tracker?

apart from not cloaking no sadly... while in cloak crouching helps since most people look straight ahead and can't see the deformation that ur suit does when ur below their sight of view...also going in shadows helps you be less visible and stick near corners walls where ever its dark and where theres no details to distort also move slower so its less noticable, betcha pc peopleare happy iwth dx11 announced

Haha yeah I can't understand why people think that CoD tactics work on different games. It pisses me off. I have several friends who play every game like that. You have to play every game differently or else it will bite you in the ass.

P.S. Whoever wants to play Crysis2 add me my Gamertag is Samsquish.

It kind of cracks me up with all the "Halo Kids" and "COD fanboyz" comments on here. Why all the hate? You do realize that 99% of the Crysis 2 players are former and/or current Halo and CoD players. Hell, the very concepts of the game borrow heavily from Halo, and the controls are almost identical to CoD. Without Halo and CoD, there is no Crysis on the Xbox.

And the idea that a CoD or Halo player can't function in Crysis 2 because of the l33t skillz needed is absurd. I typically play Team Instant Action in Crysis 2, and so far the total lack of teamwork, strategy, communication, and tactics is worse than any CoD game I've ever played. Most team games I've played on C2 break down from the very beginning into lone wolf run and gun/spray and pray, which is exactly how the majority of the Halo games I've played wind up.

No but seriously has anyone come across these hyperactive pinballs who sprint around the map and randomly spin around? lol

I mean I followed this guy around the map and he ran downstairs in the hotel of parking deck and he ran straight into the little room and bumped into every wall possible and I just said screw even trying to shoot this idiot and threw a stick of C4 into the room.........bits of noob were everywhere.....was delightful!

And do you get these doorway lovers who run though a doorway and then suddenly decide OHHHH WONG WAY! and turn around and just run through the door they came out of, its like an episode of blind date sometimes this game.....you dont know what your going to get, they may aswell have cilla bglack following you around.

HAHA! I thought that was hilarious!! I have to agree there are a growing number of tw@s playing crysis but as I tend to mute them all anyways its like playing singleplayer with the bad AI. Except it's real people spinning in circles! I suppose they can be annoying but it is funny seeing them shoot in the air for 5 mins then come up behind them and whack em one.

Not sure if anyone has said this but ... i have noticed a few players doing the old "quick scope" in & out quickly (i have seeen this done with various weapons) like the young 'uns in C.o.D.

Typical COD idiots. I've seen that happen way too many times in Bad Company 2, it's just ridiculous.

I would've thought that they would have learned their lesson, the number of times they get their butts whacked for doing it, but no, typical COD idiots.

This thread makes me laugh.

Nanotard is the greatest term evar! It just kinda rolls off the tongue.

My CoD Buddies HATE this game and I point and laugh at them.

Keep in mind that you are not completely invisible, even with stealth enhance III on, and you still cas a shadow. I know that I look for these things especially in corners and side spots. As far as the triangle, when you enter visor enhance (Up on the D pad) you can mark enemies with the x button or just keep it on them for a sec. or two, it will mark them red with an arrow over their head. They are now marked for you and your entire team until they die (I believe). Very usefull for stalking your prey and if a teammate kills them you get spotter points. Try it out.
