Anyone else reverting back to Vanilla?

Post » Tue Feb 23, 2016 11:12 am

Given the recent DLC announcements I've removed all the mods I was using and gone back to a Vanilla state. I'm really looking forward to the DLC's (particularly Far Harbor) and don't want mod compatibility to get in the way of me enjoying them as soon as they release. It's a shame to remove Full Dialogue Interface (the only mod I currently deem "essential") but I'm so psyched I'll take the hit until the DLC cycles end.

Anyone doing this?

I can't, the thought of giving up actual ARs and going back to the vanilla one is too much.

Im on Xbox One, and Ive been really intrigued about the mod announcement for consoles. Any Idea when they may be available? Also, this 'full dialog wheel', does this give you extra options?

Ive been scared to back on fallout worrying if they will effect the DLC stories. So im leaving it for the time being.

It doesn't give extra options, just quotes what you are about to say. It makes it so it's a not a wheel of fortune any more.

I don't use mods and I'm on PC so I'm Vanilla. DLC, give me time to finish my play-through, I kind of do everything everywhere first.

It gives the game a lot more replay values, it allows me to give them a bunch of different types of clothing, the ones Beth give are atrocious. It allows me to actually build a good looking settlement, with items that are not broken, and fix MacCready's teeth for once. I'm not giving them up until they actual interfere with the mods.

I wasn't planning on starting to install mods until after the GECK dropped anyway, so no issues on my front.

Hell no, gotta be some sort of psycho to play Bethesda games without mods. I actually like the ones that fix the crap that's wrong with the game. Besides, the dlcs don't look too exciting anyway. Got no interest in making robots. I may wait for the harbor one or whatever that may add an actual bit of story to the game.
