They look something right out of Mothership Zeta to me... just look at the button in the middle and the texture of it not to mention the static looking lights.

The implications would make for a far cooler narrative, but it's more than likely just reusing assets/plot devices from previous games, especially from MSZ and Fallout 3.
If they were reusing assets they would look exactly like something from Mothership Zeta... this however is not the case.
and you chose to ignore my statement as I said assets / plot devices. This is not the first time we have seen pods used in this series. It's just a rehash rather than it being part of some in game conspiracy.
Devices with that look like something out of Mothership Zeta? Please do tell me of these devices in Fallout.
They aren't just pods... they are alien looking pods that have a very similar look to something in Mothership Zeta...
Anyways i have feeling you guys you will be like "that guy was right" when all the DLC are out...
I know that (also the memory loungers read memorys they aren't simply just virtual reality) and that's besides the point... the reason i think they are alien tech isn't because what they do but the way they look...
They remind me of the Tranquility Loungers in Vault 112, and the Sim-Pod from Operation Anchorage. I don't get a Mothership Zeta vibe from them at all.
They just look like the loungers in Vault 112 or Operation Anchorage though. Just a different design to match Fallout 4's new art style and technology.
I didn't know aliens had such fine taste in red leather cushions for their loungers. I suppose they kept their captives in mind when designing them to make sure their probing experience is a relaxing and comfortable one.
According to http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Alien there are numerous technologies influenced by aliens like the Sierra Army Depot Skynet AI, Psychic Nullifier, and the brain gel for robobrains, cyberdogs, and think tanks (Old World Blues DLC).
Who missed what?
Who says the Aliens had to put the red cusions on?? They could have been added when the Memory Den got a hold of them for comfort.
Yet everyone thinks i'm completly insane for thinking they MAY be alien technology
It's not alien tech? Please provide a source that says where the Memory Loungers came from?? and they don't work like exactly like the VR machines in other games... they read your memory... Does a memory reading machine not sound like something a sterotypical alien might have?? Just stop pretending you know it all... we really don't know where the Memory Loungers came from and we can only speculate...
Irma must be sent by alien. She sits doing nothing 24/7. She must be an extraterrestrial spy.
