Anyone else think the gauss attachment is rubbish?

I tryed it for 3 matches, got body and head shots off with it but not 1 kill.
Either its majorly underpowered, or lag issues are affecting it big time.

What do you guys think?

I can't stand any of the attachments except the suppresor or extra ammo since they all weigh down the weapon. Though to get the trophies for them you need to use em if you care about that...
