anyone else update to next gen console because of FO4?

I specifically bought an Xbox One because I heard Microsoft and BioWare had some kind of timed DLC exclusive for Dragon Age: Inquisition. Well the joke was on me because I ended up not liking that game.

thats..... too many games
I'm too picky to own (pay for) that many titles.
For me it's lots of games with gold titles I haven't got around to playing yet. Still have my 360, though.
Maybe I'll get to them when I'm done playing F4, in say... 3 years, if they are still supported by xbl (probably wont be). Man.... I'm bumming myself out, here.

I got one because my wife wanted me to have it last year for my Birth-Mas gift.

With it was GTA V and The Last of Us Remastered. Totally worth it because I got to continue one of the best games from 7th gen on the 8th gen, and watch it transform into a true 8th gen game. Then I got to play a game I didn't play before on 7th gen and just fully enjoyed the beautiful remastered edition.

Yes, yes it is. But I buy more all the time... but hey, half of those are older games like Sly Cooper or even Shaq Fu.

Yep. That was me right here. I had been waiting for a title to finally make me commit to the next generation of systems, and when fallout 4 was announced and i quickly found out it wouldn't be coming out on the 360, well, I knew my time had come at last.

Once I am ready to walk away from my wasteland adventure for a while i plan to pick up the expanded dark souls 2 and probably the new tomb raider. So I'm glad I waited. Finally there's games out that aren't just C.o.D 500 or madden 2600 for the new systems

I held off until I knew it was coming out on both PS4 and Xbox One. Only because I remembered reading somewhere that there was a chance they might not release it on PS4 after all problems with Skyrim on PS3 and didn't want to upgrade until I knew for sure.

Oh good, so not just me then! Lol, thanks for making feel better about my Fallout addiction costing me a bunch of cash to upgrade...although all told, I thought $349 for a 1TB Xbox one with Fallout 4 and Fallout 3, plus a beautiful Fallout 4 faceplate wasn't a bad deal! Really glad I got the 1Tb too, been seeing a lot of people with the smaller drive struggling with storage space.
