Anyone else watch wwe?

Post » Sat Feb 19, 2011 3:07 am

Is it just me or is there to much recap on Raw and Smackdown? They keep showing what happened on raw on smackdown and vice versa on Raw. Also there is to much "This guy from raw will be here tonight to talk on smackdown about something that happened on RAW" and, once again Vice Versa. They barely have any wrestling now.

Yeah it's pathectic what they do now. I seen it already, I don't need to watch it again. This is why if I miss an episode, I don't mind because you will see it ALL on the next show, and when you watch a PPV they Show it ALL again anywys, so why bother watching all the time? They wonder why viewership is down, it's like watching the same show over and over again.

I used to be a pretty big fan of WWE but I find it boring, repetitive and predictable now.

Only when it cuts into another program that is supposed to be on at the same time.

I haven't watched WWE since it was WWF. However I do enjoy listening to http://wrestlewrestle.com/ [censored] about it.

Haven't watched wrestling for any length of time since Andre the Giant passed away. I've watched bit and pieces here and there, but find it to be even more ridiculous than I remember it being when I was a kid in the 70's. Maybe I'm just too old to care about it anymore.

never was much for fake wrestling.......MMA is much better in my opinion. i used to watch as a kid and i liked hulk and andre, the animal and the hacksaw brothers etc. those were "fun" wrestlers. all the wrestlers they have now act like dikes. also, how can one take an organization that lost to the World Wildlife Federation. seriously, they lost to a bunch of cutesy wutesy cuddly animal lovers. how pathetic is that.

I don't watch it anymore, but I used to like it a lot. Last thing I was excited about was the return of The Rock.

Agreed, I find myself liking TNA more and more these days. I started watching in the Attitude Era, those days where so much better.

BTW I know its scripted, so are movies, sitcoms, and reality tv shows. Its just entertainment.

I've always been of the opinion that actually beating the living [censored] out of other people solely for entertainment is [censored] barbaric as all hell. I mean, what are we, cavemen? WWE gives the sense of violence with lots of drama, all with the satisfaction of knowing it's absolutely scripted to a T and the only injuries that occur are purely by mistake. If I wanted to see someone beat the crap out of someone else, I'd go to a local bar, where I won't have to pay for it.

Agreed! I always thought sports like boxing and ufc and such are stupid, you walk out with a fat lip and bruises, maybe a few missing teeth.

I am sorry close the thread or whatever but I can't just let such an idiotic statement pass.

i used to watch SmackDown on regular basis, then it slowed down, and recently it was moved to some channel that we don't get so i don't even watch it anymore.
and yeah, it does seem like they do a lot of that; and its been this way for a while, i think, but to a less extent.

I find the whole thing too absurd and hilarious to even take seriously on a light entertainment level.
