Anyone excited for...

Post » Sat Feb 19, 2011 2:45 am

Duke Nukem, Skyrim, The Witcher 2, I am alive, Human revolution, Colonial Marines, etc etc. There are many games I can't wait to get my hands on. Question is, which are worth buying, and which do I wait to get through gamefly? I usually buy the really long games, or the ones that give good reason to multiple play-throughs.
-edit- forgot about RAGE and Battlefield 3.

The Witcher 2 (somewhat - it'll get stomped by Skyrim and subsequently shelved, in all likelihood); Rage (looks like tremendous fun, and its setting and influences are close to my heart); and of course TESV: Skyrim.

Motorstorm: Apocalypse
Brink

Might also get LA: Noire

'bout all this year...

The only game I'm definitely going to buy on release day is The Witcher 2. I'm also looking forward to:

Deus Ex: Human Revolution
Saints Row 3
Guild Wars 2
Skyrim
Mass Effect 3

And I might still get Shogun 2, but I certainly won't pay full price for that.

Holy crap! I just checked out some Battlefield: 3 gameplay videos I nearly fell off my chair. How have I not found out about this game yet! Just got added to my list.

Could anyone clarify whether or not this is a direct sequel?

Although I haven't played the series, it's a sequel to Battlefield 2 according to wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battlefield_3

I like this excerpt: "Unusual for a contemporary big-budget shooter, Battlefield 3's lead platform is the PC rather than a console."

Skyrim obviously...just waiting for the CE to be announced so I can pre order :celebration:

Other than that ME3, The Witcher 2, LA Noire, inFamous 2 and Fifa 12 (hey I like football).

Also keeping an eye on RAGE, Brink and Hunted: the Demon's Forge.

I know there are more...but I don't remember anymore right now :P

Saints Row 3, Skyrim, and Forza Motorsport 4. I'm sure that i could find another ten titles that I would be excited for, but for some reason, I haven't been keeping up on new video games recently.

Deus Ex: Human Revolution is the only game I look forward to. (Mass Effect 3 is something I worry about, however.)

Skyrim. Thats it. and the only reason I am getting the game is because I love the Elder Scrolls and have played other ones. If It was just a new game without any other background games to it, I more then likely wouldn't get it.

I have lost interest in gaming for some reason. at the beginning of this year I was al stoked for about 5 games, now I am only thinking about getting Skyrim. I seriously don't know how it happened, but whenever I think "I'm going to go play video games for a while" I get to my console and don't even turn it on, then go do something else.

Happens with me, too. The original XBOX is somewhat of an exception.
