YO ANYONE FROM CRYTEK!!: New 3mb 360 update 31/03/2011

Post » Wed Dec 16, 2009 8:40 am

your game is unplayable.
Far from it. Crysis 2 online is almost orgismic.

Ignore him, its more like "my internet connection is so 'dial up' that it compensates for my lack of skill in all games I waste my money on playing"....so its someone elses fault for natural born misery

seems the retriever module is now fixed online, mine was reset but after a few games i checked it again and it now counts kills instead if killstreaks so at least it won't take to long to build back up.

I don't get why some gamers demand developers release all the details of fixes they are making. Like are you guys part of the dev team? No, we can play the game and make our comments, but I don't think we are in any position to demand the details of the work they are doing. It's a private company FFS. We're lucky we have a forum where we can express our opinions on the game. They do have some form of direct interaction as well and for that we should be grateful.

The game has been out like a week and it's multiplayer mode, while not perfect, is a very solid base. All I hear is demanding impatience and it's over the top and unproductive. Sure let's pick apart details of the game's issues, but demanding a progress report every day is just getting ridiculous. I say it would be more productive of us to really give detailed descriptions of things that are not right and need fixing. Rather than giving Cry-Tom a lot of useless posts to wade through to get to quality discussion on MP issues.

Kudos, my thoughts as well.

Its good to know what has been changed if anything to see if it will improve any issues you are experience.

Reason why people are asking is because Crytek have said nothing other then tackling boosters and cheaters, the MP is becoming more annoying with the lack of a good region filter, especially for those in the UK having to put up with host advantage with US connections etc

Especially when today, the 3mb update has reset the Retrieval module back to stage 1 and 0 XP....not being told about something like that is annoying if you have managed to level the thing up, but then its at 0XP and no explanation

We can ask because we all paid money to buy this game from Crytek....it wouldnt take much for them now the game is out to offer more interaction on their own official website about the game and its issues

I understand there is MP problems, but the game is nowhere near broken. I've had more fun playing C2 MP than any other game for quite awhile. (When I actually have time to play) Once this game is patched properly, it's going to be quite the beast of game!

Thanks for the update and the game is certainly playable. Friends and myself are enjoying this game more than most. Just be happy that it isn't operating like a certain shooter that was released just a week or two before C2.

"Today we released the first of a number of security updates. Accounts that we have identified as exploiting an unfair advantage have been reset and if the activity persists, they will be banned permanently. If you find yourself being kicked, it is because our systems have detected that you are cheating. We will continue to update the anti-cheat software in Crysis 2 and strive for a cheat-free community."
