Hey guys - just a few quick question for everyone in the UK.

- If you preordered New Vegas, where did you preorder it from?
- Has it arrived today?

- Do you have any preordering experience from this site before this purchase? If so, when do you normally get what you're preordered?

I preordered from GAME, purely based on the fact that most people I know who preorder from GAME get it one day before release. Apparently not. This happened the same with Red Dead Redemption from HMV, but that STILL hasn't arrived (I was so itching to play it I bought it from Tesco the day after release. The only reason I think it hasn't arrived is some bugger from the post office nabbed it.)

I BETTER get this game tomorrow, absolutely dying to play it!

Normally a day before apart from when modern warfare 2 came out

Pre-orderd with GAME, Fallout: NV arrived today & as with Mafia 2 last month i cannot play it because Steam wont allow you to play untill the release day, which will be Midnight tonight, and officialy Friday. Kinda takes away part of the point of pre-ordering :swear:

Got it from Game, PS3 Collectors edition and no issues at all so far.
Expecting the collectors edition guide from Play.com tomorrow.

My copy of the Collector's Edition arrived a few hours ago, 360 version, I'll be playing it shortly.

Not really. Pre-ordering is to make sure you get it in the mail on release day. Since you can get to the store. Pre-ordering at the store is also to reserve a copy for you

i havent but a couple of people on my friends list pre ordered from game and got theirs today ( i preordered amazon)

Pre-ordered from PLAY.com. Got a text today saying it arrived this morning. Every game and EP I've pre-ordered in the past has arrived the day before its official release.

Personally I think PLAY is the best online retailer for the UK, never had a bad experience with it. It says allow 3 - 5 days but you'll always recieve your package within two days unless Royal Mail is on one of its many strikes. Great service, highly recommend it. :thumbsup:

WOOOOOOo, my GAME pre-order dispatched this morning and i have just now recieved my classic pack download code. So tomorrow morning i should be all set...before babysitting for 5 hourse from 5....and then going on holiday for the weekend.

I've always had my Game preorders the Thursday before. Maybe it's something to do with where in the UK you are?

I'm getting mine at midnight tonight.

mine arrived a couple of minutes before i got back from work. luckily i was able to nab the postman and sign for it before he took it back to the post office

Rarely pre-order tbh last game I pre-ordered was Mount and Blade Warband from Amazon but there was something kinda odd about it that put me off so I cancelled the pre-order and got it direct from the dev's site.

With regards to FO:NV I've been more than happy with the service, was initially unsure as I don't rate their stores that highly, but I asked around these forums a month ago and Game came highly recommended and they've certainly fulfulled my expectations on this occasion - they emailled me on Tuesday to say my order was being processed, again yesterday to tell me the game had been dispatched and a final email today with my pre-order code.

Also found the package waiting for me when I got home from work, was sent first class and that was the free delivery option.

I always get my games from this Site as its the best and 90% of the time you will get it the day before. Thursday...

Preordered from Game.co.uk, and it arrived today. However, it won't let me activate on steam because apparently it isn't released yet. Isn't that a little pathetic? Ah well, can't be any worse than GfW at least.

i preordered from play it didnt arrive today everytime ive pre ordered before it has come the day before release.

if its not here tomorrow ill be going to gamestation near me and getting it and sending the copy back to play.

I don't recall making pre-orders, but actual purchases when the game is already out... But everything has been great so far. The thing is I live in Spain so it takes 5-10 days for the game to arrive. But I save a lot (the game here is around 70€ and I'm paying 44€...)

I hope you complained harshly to HMV, especially if they had debited your account. You should have had some vouchers at least. I complain when games don't become within a week of their expected delivery.

Edit: I bought the game from GAME and it arrived this morning.

Its probably for the best that its not here yet, I've got an essay to write tomorrow and I won't be able to do it if I'm up all night playing Fallout.
