I am totally going to play one hour every other day and try and complete the game to 100% that should take about a year.......

Nope, because I never ever restart Oblivion. Just had one character since the beginning and wouldnt play it over... just ask the regulars

You mean you just have one character since you play this game? I don't understand how could you comprehend this game so well.

I've got no need to start a fresh game, if I'm honest. Helena Aurelie hasn't progressed much due to other commitments in my life, so she's still a very new character. That and the amount of times I've restarted her so I could change a couple of things.

Started new character yesterday, my pure mage was getting a little to lazy and comfortable. Level 30, to much money, to much loot, rounded lost spires, bosses was harder than the second gatekeeper in SI. Not because of TES 5, because of craftybits, an awesome crafting mod who fit perfectly for a ranger type of character, cut wood, not only for arrows but also for spears and planks you can make furniture of. Kill an animal, take it’s fur for clothing or armor, bones for arrow tips, mining and metalworking as I understand you can make ebony items.

So new character is a woodelf ranger who mostly lives in the wilderness, I wonder if anybody knows a nice location for a base, I would prefer a cave that would be practical as in decent sized rooms not far from the entrance, non respawning or only animals.

I just started a new character, woodelf too. I find the White Stallion is good, north to leyawiin. but you have to finish the quest about the orc in leyawiin castle.

Yes, it’s a decent location and Mazura is cool, I was thinking something with a little more wilderness around me, might use that in the beginning.
Might want to load my mage again and take a look around. Know that it’s a cave right outside Skingrad with non respawning vampires but if’s a little to close to a city.

There is a mod giving you a cave southeast to Anvil at the beginning, but its entrance is a little far.

Another option is to pick a cabin you like, kill the owner and make it yours...I think this works

why dude? its so much fun playing as a thief or as a mage or as all out fighter.......even an archer...

Finished? This game can't be finished, unless your character dies. Even if you did all the quests, and found all the stuff there is to find, which would be a huge accomplishment, there would still be more stuff to do, since the dungeons respawn.

As soon as I got Xbox Live I bought everything possible for Oblivion, so now I have Oblivion GOTY Edition and everything. After deleting my lvl 36 Character I was going to startover but instead got caught in playing Halo . So yes I am going to start over, and play as my favorite the Argonian. My plan is to be a sneaky like character. I will start with maybe the theives or fighters guild then mages and finallly my favorite The Dark Brotherhood.

I will not start a fresh game, but I am getting back into my current character which I haven't used much for a few months. I've played more in the past week then I have for the past 3 months.
