A Breton tank that turned into a perfect fighter/archer/assassin that can now use unlimited magic thanks to enchanting, an orc that I cheated with to increase his level to see what perks I'd want(believe it or not, he's my newest character and I've learned very little from it), an Argonian who is a thief archetype that only increases stamina per level, and guess what the altmer does.

I have a High Elf, and a Breton. (Thangurdir and Eura, in their respective order)
The Breton being 'canon' as well as my main character.
I'm waiting to things to patch up before I use him again.

I have the game for both 360 and PC, so for that reason I'm playing two characters simultaneously. A Khajiit Berserker for PC, and an Imperial Rogue for X360.

I've always wanted to make one solid character that I won't get tired playing with, and I think I did I made a good job with both my characters to make them different enough to be interesting and not too "jack-of-all-tradesy"
But on the other hand, I'm eager to try out other ways of playing the game already. :D

Lv 42 Redguard warrior - sword n board, smithing, enchanting. Totally op and got boring quickly

Lv 33 Orc archer/assassin. Using only item drops/quest rewards and minor enchants. Loads of fun

Next will be an illusionist/conjurer

I deleted my very first character after he reached level 43 after about 120 hours of playing. He was a Nord Warrior that turned into a jack of all trades eventually, including destruction. The char felt a mess, so deleted it.
I`ve stuck with my 2nd character, who surprisingly, is a Nord Warrior again but with thief/assassin abilities. I don`t plan on doing another character as I feel quite attached to this one.

Here's what I've got now.
Nord Battlemage (lvl 40ish)
Khajiit Thief (lvl 40ish)
Argonian Warrior (just started)

I kinda feel like waiting for a patch now though.

I found its a lot more fun to make a couple of different characters that focus on more specific things as opposed to playing one that does EVERYTHING and playing them into the ground.

I still mostly play my main but I got a couple of side characters for doing stuff like the Thieves Guild that I'll play more later.

Just trying to play from the POV of your character and what they would do adds a lot more to the game them developers can ever put in.

lvl 36 woodelf "good assassin/rogue" (as in he doesn't steal or murder anyone who is non hostile or not a criminal)
lvl 27 imperial cleric -- wears robes, alteration for armor, one handed maces for damage, restoration for healing and restoring stamina to spam power attacks with the maces

still want to make a dedicated two handed weapon + heavy armor warrior and a less moral sneaky person who will do the thieves guild and dark brotherhood...maybe a more dedicated magic person too.

My main character is a Nord warrior, non-magic user, all out 2 hander/heavy armor.

Then I also just created a Breton mage/archer just to see if that play style would be more fun with the new Skyrim magic system. I'm currently having a lot of fun with the archery, but I'm not sold on the magic yet, so I'll give it a bit more time.

The Nord was my very first character, and I'm more attached to him and feel like it would be more fun to actually finish the main quest line with him as everything is new. With my second character I'm getting the "been there, done that" feeling, which is not so cool.

Nope, you're the first person to think of that idea, and the first to post about it.

I would have more than one character, but the savegame interface makes it too annoying.

But I expect to play at least two very different characters all the way through the game, one after the other.

Three, actually, all of them Argonians (I simply love that race)

- Paladin: Your typical defensive archetype with Restoration magic. Roleplaying wise he loves defeating Undeads, Necromancers and doing good deeds in general.

- Arch-Mage: A mage that specializes in every kind of magic available, with no physical combat abilities. Roleplaying wise, he loves supporting big scaled battles with his magic, while his allies join the bloodshed.

- Master Alchemist: A character with absolutely no combat abilities, 0 kills count, and only relays on Stealth to brew different potions for his allies. If something needs a beating, he just hires a mercenary to do that for him. Roleplaying wise, he loves trekking into the mountains picking different reagents, while avoiding Bandits and wild animals.

I'm having a lot of fun with my last character, it brings a different way of playing, that's for sure.
