Anyone have there plans fail miserably?

So i'm dragonborn having a stroll about Skyrim and figured I'll just nip into a tavern and have a drink or talk to some relatives. First thing I hear is some bard singing appalingly, I ignore it and move on. Next tavern I walk into, another bard, singing a different song but with the same pacing and still very annoying.

Repeat an ungodly amount of times.

Now its time to settle this, I've decided that I'm going to kill every bard in existence and I'll strike right at the source, the Bards College. Storming through the entrance mace in hand (im usually a strict bow/dagger character, but these deserved a good bonking on the head) and a member talks to me asking for help with the only option being the acceptance of the quest....err....ok. So here I am planning to kill every bard or thing that is remotely like or has bard in there name and I come out with a quest to help them. God damnit :banghead: . My first reaction was something along the lines of "U...uh....okaaaay.... but when I get back i'm soooo bludgening you in the face" (I know... not very "dragonborny").

Has anyone else had there plans completely backfire on them?

Pretty much every quest in the game...

I mean I DO NOT WANT TO DELIVER YOUR SWORD. Im the freaking dragonborn, not the naked messenger I see running around in my game.

Seriously the option to deny quests is lacking.

Yeah... the biggest thing that I haven't thought about till it was too late is that regardless of what your going to use go up the heavy armor side of smithing because Deadra is better weapons and you can make light and heavy armor with Dragon. Shop keepers and followers dying by the typical dragon is also annoying especially since they never get replaced.

I don't care even if Skyrim looked better than Dark Souls and Dead Island combined, it's still a [censored] game in my book for being back watered user friendly game play.

Most NPCs I want to kill end up being unkillable. Sigh...

I understand most peoples points, but don't get me wrong I love the game, actually obsessed with it in fact, just sadly the restrictions in this 5th version of elder scrolls is a little more obvious than in other ones.

Yeah I think Bethesda said:

"I think we should make [Insert super annoying NPC] this guy unkillable for sure, I just really like him"

"Yep, great idea."

Then they took an arrow in the knee.

Every character I start I want to be 'good' with and end up following whatever daedric prince I happen to run into blindly.

My first character.

I thought "I'm going to be a badass mage and burn everything to the ground with fire and lightning!" I think we all know how that turned out.

I just started out my game lvl 1 contracted the vampire disease and desperatly needed potion of cure disease (ON 2nd day).
-Dont have any gold or the time to adventure to find any i decided im gonna kill the shopkeep in riverwood for one you know the guy for the golden claw.
- Walk into the shop, and beat him intot submission, his sister joins in and gets a sword in her back, not knowing about essential npcs, i continue the beatings.
- Eventually im like this guy isnt going to relinquish this damn potion to me, steal all his [censored] while hes down, and leave, come back couple seconds later.
- I realised i had some semi precious gems to trade for the potion. Sorry dude didnt mean to kill your sister and all, that totally was not part of the plan :cryvaultboy:
- "Its alright bruh that vampirism thing you had goin on I understand you did what you had to do" :foodndrink:
body slumped in the corner of the store, i truly regret that.
