I can play my Steam games, but I can't access the Steam site. On my Mac or in Win 8 mode, I can't buy nothing if I wanted, I can't see any games. When I go to My Games and then click on forums, I am getting nothing in Win 8 mode, or jumbled screen in Mac mode. So I am wondering if this is a Steam problem since the last update?

If not what can I do? Wanted to get a game but can't now since I can't access the Steam Site with Steam software.

You can buy games on the website through other browsers if you can't get it fixed in time.

I wish I could tell you. My PC went up to that great tech shop in the sky, and I haven't had any money to repair or it get a new one.
