This thread should be moved to... well... I don't think the TES forum has a spot for random discussion, so it should be deleted. This is not discussing Skyrim, in fact, It's specifically for people who don't want to discuss Skyrim. I'd say it needs to go. Mods?

EDIT: Although I do love the sarcasm we're getting, quite funny. :P

Oh, yeah, I'm not at all interested in Skyrim, which would explain why I'm here on the Skyrim general discussion forums.

j/k there are none :P

TBH i'm surprised this genre is so...empty. We get some games occasionaly every few years(yikes) like Gothic4 or TW2, but they are usually mega flops that can't even get an 80% average.

I'm hoping Kindom of Aurm(sp?) is good in 2012.

Yeah we all come here to the skyrim forums every day because we don't care about it nor do we get excited.
Maybe try posting this in the community discussion or something if it's not a total joke thread.

If by looking forward to Skyrim you mean going giddy over previews and bouncing anxiously in wait for its release, then no, I'm not looking forward to Skyrim. If by looking forward to Skyrim you mean interested in and curious about the experience the final product will provide as a ten year Elder Scrolls fan, then I am looking forward to it.

This thread doesn't make all that much sense but I'm trying.

I stopped getting stupid excited over upcoming video games the day I bought Lionhead Studio's Black & White, though. For me, at this point, it's as simple as... "this game looks like it will kick spotted owl, time to write a post-it note to read the previews and pick it up in November". Most of the time I forget. Hell, I didn't track Oblivion one bit after its announcement. I heard it was coming out in two weeks, read a couple previews, bought it on release day... still playing it now.

But, there is a place to discuss the game for a reason, and none of us would be here if we weren't... well... looking forward to it.

I'm looking forward to Skyrim, more than any other game for years. Dark Souls is a close second on my list.

I'm not expecting much out of that game to be honest.

In the past 10 years only three titles have even remotely come close to TES and that was Arx Fatalis, Fallout 3 and New Vegas. Everything else is just garbage by comparison. Name any game and it pales next to a Bethesda open world game.

You forgot Mass Effect.

What is the deal with this thread? Coming on Skyrim's page to say, to a bunch of people that are overly excited for the game, that you are not going to buy it?

I don't understand the point.

I'm still neutral, but the stats thing has me starting to lean away from it.
I'm interested in the mod tools more than the game itself. That's what will make or break it for me.

So..you think that there are people on this forum who don't intend on buying Skyrim, who aren't excited about it?

Tell me, why would they be here?

Skyrim could fail in every new thing they are implementing, and I'd still be excited to play it because it's a rare-breed of a game that hits a sweet spot in what I'm looking for in entertainment. So no...I'm deff excited.
