I really like the sheriffs hat and coat you find but it always gets destroyed, npcs wont repair it for me and i can never find anything that matches them to repair them myself.(hats dont work?)
Does anyone know if there are any similar items out there that you can use to repair them or even better an npc who will do it?

They don't have a repair list, so can only use other copies of themselves. There is one NPC who has another hat, and freeside thugs may randomly have them. no other coats though. To repair that you need the perk Jury Rigging
