Anyone know if there's large scale battles?

Went searching but can't find the answer. Is it confirmed we'll have large scale battles or something crap like Battle for Kvatch in Oblivion? I'm hoping you get to lead up to ten mercenaries against a wave of 10-20 opponents. Opens so much possibilities for mods without ai limitation like in Oblivion where everyone freezes if there's too many NPCs.

Stoarmcloaks/Imperial Civil War and the Battle against Alduin and his Daedra would make sense. :P

Alduin won't be using any Daedra.

Frankly, I doubt it (:(), but to my knowledge it has not been confirmed either way.

most definitely no. the consoles are not going to allow for it. they were only able to get more npcs on screen only after combining greaves and cuirass. i would love to see a 250 man battle ala mount and blade warband but that just isnt going to happen on a console developed game.

the best you could hope for is having a "background" of npcs fighting where they are just there for eyecandy. if its done correctly it can increase the atmosphere so hopefully they will do that at least. witcher 2 did a good job of this and ive seen my friends play some games on their PS3 and 360s that have background fighting. its just not interactive.
