Anyone know why cloud graphics are coming out black?

I've been playing around with the weather in the game, trying to come up with my own thing. I figured I'd take a look at Oblivion clouds and see what I could do with some of those graphics in Fellout. But all the clouds that were supposed to be white came out black instead. I even tried a shot from Fellout and the same thing happened with that too.

That is very strange, and probably related to your PC somehow. But to be sure I would re-install the Fellout package and make sure that it's textures didn't somehow get smashed. Then make sure that Fellout is in the load-order right and go from there. You could also check out the Enhanced Weather mod on nexus - it adds some Great rain and cloud conditions. Summer is also a very popular mod for changing the environment, not sure if it messes with weather tho.

Luck,

Well I'm not trying to install Fellout, I'm trying to do my own thing. This is happening to all the cloud graphics I'm trying to add in the GECK to my own mod, not just with those from Fellout. As far as I can see Fellout works just fine, but I don't really want to use it. Thanks for trying to help though.

Doh! I was using a layer that is normally used for the Alpha.dds, which has all the RGB settings set to 0. So I now have a bunch of cloud types to work with. Cool!
