Anyone not playing?

Post » Sat Dec 17, 2011 1:35 am

Not playing because currently at work
Besides I couldn't find Skyrim on Steam yesterday (and previously) at all
There's better be TES5 on :swear: Steam when I come back from work, or I'll, I'll...

I don't even know what I'll do, maybe fall down on my knees and sob for a few minutes :(

My new PC was supposed to show up today. The they revised it to the 14th now its the 15th. Dell/Alienware has given me alittle discount for my trouble but I'd really rather have it for the weekend.

I'm not playing yet, my copy of Skyrim is sitting here waiting for me to unwrap it :)

Tonight I'm off for a few drinks with friends to celebrate, Sunday will be the big day for me.

Playing in 30 minutes after it has finished [censored] downloading. I ordered a copy, never arrived in my mail box. For whatever reason, it was shipped two days ago. :brokencomputer:

Someone tell me the plastic, the map and the damn leaflet is non-important. Because I know it is, still I wanted a solid copy for once.

I preordered and paid for it in SEPTEMBER and they still haven't shipped my copy. IF they ship it today, I might get it tomorrow, but I have my doubts. I'll never preorder from that store again.

Just get it from steam and send it back.

Mine didn't arrive this morning and there's no Saturday mail over here, so it won't be until Monday now for me.

I don't play too. :(
Because of limited stock for Europe Bethesda sent most of its stock to the UK and left some countries without copies at all until the next batch.

At least I hope there will be a new patch until next week,so when we actually get,we can play it fine.

If I had a desktop that could run it, I would, but I settled for the 360 version. Actually, come to think of it, I think I prefer it on console. I always spend way too much time in the construction set, which usually ends with me creating enchanted items that really are too powerful.

Still, I find it endlessly frustrating.

I got my new PC the 8th. Then I discovered a high-pitched noise coming from my PSU. Coil whine. I could play now, but I'm switching the PSU.

I have Skyrim on preorder from Gamelane in Australia. They have been saying that they cannot post it until the 14th but now they sent me an email that it might be the 18th, which means I wont get it till the 21st. I am thinking of cancelling and going out and buying it in the morning, even though this will cost me at least $19 more over my pre-order discount, although I will phone to reserve a copy before going in as it can cost me a bundle in public transport as well to get it this way (up to $30 for each attempt as I am disabled and often need to use Taxis). Oh, and Gamelane claims that Bethesda is responsible as the EU PC version is what I had ordered and they claim that the release date is pushed back, for which I can find absolutely no evidence anywhere online and plenty of evidence that this is just wrong. JB HiFi has been selling a PC version for two days now apparently, and I know of people in Europe who are playing the PC version. I got Oblivion at the midnight release, but its proving hard to get Skyrim - its infuriating.

Expected Delivery: Nov 16th, so yup, I'm not playing :S

I've tried it at a friends house though, he got the steam version, but it seems to have way too many problems, I couldn't believe it.

ETA here is the 15th. But even when it does arrive, it won't be playable until I upgrade the graphics card.
