anyone own a PS Vita?

been here replaying Heroes of Migfht and Magic II after buying it from GoG (awesome game, I suggest you go play it), and I got a call from a former co-worker..

Apparently a local "ma & pa" gaming store up town is having a major sale on PS Vita's (brand new, in package, $99.99)

Now, I never owned a Vita or even played one for that matter.. but there are a few titles on the PSN Store that look somewhat interesting..

So my question is, to those of you who own a Vita, do you enjoy it? would it be worth shelling out the $100?

I've got one but I haven't used it in about a year. My mom brought it for me along with P4: The golden. After I got bored with P4 I just...stopped playing. The vita is sitting in one of my boxes, gathering dust.

Edit- In all honesty, If there are games you want for it go ahead and buy it. I'm personally glad I didn't buy it myself since I'm not a huge handheld gaming person (Hell I don't even play many games anymore...). The 3DS has a better selection of games for me.

I recently bought a Vita solely for Persona 4 Golden, but I haven't used it yet. Cue post-purchase rationalization.

But seriously, although I don't have any first-hand experience with the system yet, there are at least 5 or 6 cool games on the Vita, but the value you get out of it might depend on how long a relatively small number of games can hold your attention for. If you play most games for 10 or 20 hours and then never pick them up again, it may not be a super useful purchase. $100 is a really good price, though. Even if you don't like it, you could always sell it online for $140 or something.

Blasphemy.
