Looks amazing imo. CoD might have a force to reckon with. Hmm?

Eh, I'm getting to the point where I'm sick of FPS's.

Instead of comparing everything to Call Of Duty I would rather just play it and see if it's good on its own. If anything is going to kick CoD out of the ballpark this year it's Battlefield 3.

Naaah, I rarely buy games on release, much less FPSs.

Besides, I've had way too much fun with the Crysis 2 demo. As far as shooters go it kind of wins out over Homefront. And I'm not too keen on Koreans invading America anyways. It makes me mildly angry just to think about, much less play a game about. :P

I'm such a HUGE fan of Homefront that I moved to the city it takes place almost a year before it's freaking release date, omg omg omg I love Homefront aaaaaahhh :ahhh: :ahhh: :ahhh:

...Seriously though, no, I'm not getting it on release. Maybe someday, if I like the reviews I read and I can find it for a good price.

Don't know, maybe I'll rent it from Gamefly or not and just wait for another game at the time by playing for whatever I already have in my collection.

I didn't pre-order it, but im going to get in on release day. It should tie me over until Mortal Kombat, which in turn should tie me over several months until Gears of War 3 and Battlefield 3.

I would absolutely love to 'cause I love the premise. But sadly, I lack the funds and a computer that can run it.

Is it handholding, a closed off world, and short linear missions like COD? if so, I dont' want it. Otherwise it looks cool, especially that I live in the SF bay area.
I might want to get it, but you need to sell me on it, please :)

Yep, I'm gonna pre-order it tomorrow, it does look really nice, and dedicated servers on console with 32 player PvP is gonna be amazing. I'm mainly gonna play MP though, but I'll eventually try SP at some point.

I just bought the game, and I have to say that Homefront actually has an amazing multiplayer. The singeplayer is pretty mediocre, but the multiplayer is one of the best that I have seen in years, which is actually very surprising. It did decent on the reviews:

Metacritic: 75
G4TV: 3/5
IGN: 7/10
Playstation Official Magazine Italy: 9/10

Most of the complaints towards the game is against the Singleplayer. If it had a good singeplayer, then this could have easily been an amazing game.

That's too bad. I hadn't really read much specific about the singleplayer, but... in the game that I had pictured this being in my mind, it was good. Really thought it might have actually lived up to it. Guess I'll skip this one.
