Anyone planning to play in 4K on PC? Guessed Reqs?

We'll see about fallout. I don't think it's going to be too bad on the hardware. Gameworks will be taxing though but I'm sure we will have the option to use it or not. I have an Asus MX27AQ and its very nice. I'm suprised I don't hear more about this monitor honestly. The colors are absolutely outstanding.

Keyboards are fine. Monitors are a different beast and the horror stories are real.

I'd rather dsr than Korean monitor. Dsr is fine its just a hoopty version of high resolution for people with 1080p monitors; doesnt really give you the rich 1440p experience.

I am hoping my I5-3570k/EVGA GTX 970 FTW/8GB RAM setup will be enough to max out in just 1680 x 1050.

I will be playing @ 4K easy. This game will be easy to run(Come on folks it's the same ol engine with more polys) @ 4K for most sli card setups, but one 970 not so much.

3570k at stock clocks is a monster. You don't need to upgrade your proccesor. Your system will run that resolution just fine.

I sure hope so, Tomb Raider 2013 kind of struggled with this setup at that resolution and without hair physics.

Can't see why you wouldn't crush that game with that card and processor unless the game was optimized like garbage.

Actually that game IS optimized like [censored]. What os do you have?

Windows 7

I mean I still run almost max settings minus Full Precision lighting and TressFX. The game still looks gorgeous, but has frame rate dips into the 40's in places like shantytown.

Forget 4k.. it's dead. The next big thing is 8k. After that they are going to make this awesome leap into reality by creating a pane of glass that allows you to look through your walls into the outside world. "it looks so real out there!"

Most people that game at 4k are using downsampling or DSR. Not many people have native 4k monitors or TVs. If anything downsampling/DSR is like the ultimate form of antialiasing.

A little birdie told me that even a (very) heavily overclocked 970 struggles to maintain 30fps @ 4K, but can handle 2560x1440 just fine on max settings, albeit with occasional dips below 60fps (sometimes as low as the mid-30s).

I'm hoping for a smooth 1080p with stable frame rates. My system is a bit below the recommended specs; I've got a 4770k and an R9 290. I was going to go with the Xbox 1 version and stream the game to my pc on occasion, but I figure I'd like the faster frame rates.

With nvidia gameworks you'll be lucky to do 1080p...
