anyone played bullestorm?

i tried out the demo and found it to be ........um.............ridiculously easy. is the actual game any more difficult and for the love of god can i disable that awful aim assist. all i had to do was run up to people with the revolver and head shot them. overall it looked like an interesting shooter to try out but if the regular game is identical to the demo then forget it.

Well the point is to rack up as many points as possible by doing interesting combos... Not just shooting everyone in the head.

The demo is a boring piece of crud. It's not in any way representative of the actual game, which is a very, very fun shooter with amazing levels and very, very funny dialogue. And no, the humour is not only derived from the main swearing like a sailor. Though he does, but what's more pleasant than ripping enemies apart with Wolverine swearing as a soundtrack? ^_^

I tried the demo. First thing I noticed was the terribly weird menu navigation (guess this is what they mean by "consolitis"). The mouse sensitivity was also absurdly low, even after I maxed it out. The game didn't turn out to be much better, for something that mocks the CoD-school of shooters it sure felt like one. Quit the game, which gave me a 2 minute unskippable FMV.

All it did was make me want to install Painkiller again. Yahtzee's review of Bulletstorm turned out to be pretty accurate, especially the beginning where he describes how Epic got ahold of People Can Fly.

It looks alright. I already got Halo, Black Ops and Dragon Rising, dont need any more shooters.

If I find it for cheap or a friend gets it I'll play it.

I think the only good demo I've played that convinced me to purchase the game was Rainbow Six Vegas. THunt ftw. Oh I bought Shadowrun cuz I played the demo alot, the game ended up boring after a bit, no new maps :( and the community went straight tdm

FYI, the PC version of Bulletstorm uses GFWL. :brokencomputer:

Still worth it though.

played it at a friend's. not very challenging, but it has its moments. I think the gameplay focuses more on having fun than being a challenge, which is cool. A bit generic for my tastes(gears of war *cough*), but not horrible. there's some good supporting characters, but the main character really doesn't have much charisma.

I thought the sniper gameplay had an interesting twist.

This game even actively wants you to think that GfWL is crud. Why? Well, to activate and play, you need to connect to GfWL. Don't have an account? Quit the game and make one. What, GfWL links itself to the game before the main menu? Ctrl+Alt+Delete.
Good, you have an account! Oh, a patch! Download! Now quit the game to install! Wait, you're not in the main menu yet, again. Oh... Ctrl+Alt+Delete...

Picked it up new for $25 on the 360, have maybe put in 45 minutes playing.

Just another FPS with added gimmicks

I watched a guy in my building play it. Feels terribly uninspired to me.

I thought I just had bad luck, but from what I've been hearing lately a lot of people seem to have run into this problem.

It works if you are generally logged into GfWL through the Live services. People with that problem are not, for whatever reason - I, for one, had just migrated to Win7.

I wish SKyrim went GFWL exclusive so I can have a good laugh. One of the biggest or the biggest game of 2011 gone GFWL exclusive lol, has this ever happened before?
