Life was so much better before WoW destroyed PvP.
I remember. Good times, good times.
Brilliant game back in the Day was my 1st MMo back in 2002. Good community and still rolling with same guild from good ol days through various games. Mid/Excal
Only IF we are forced to have seperate PvE/PvP gear. If we need completly seperate gear, I will not partake.
Same here. Still running with the same crew from 12 years ago.
Can you imagine today's gamers chain pulling redcaps in Midgard for hours to level? Or heading deep into DF to pull Diamond mobs with a Reaver blocking for an Air Wizard while he PBAoEs. Cabalist with a Damage shield on their pet chaining goblins in Lyoness.
Playing on Pendragon was special. One of your community members was killed in an auto accident by a drunk driver. She used to play a Cabalist. The Devs named one of the Pygmie Goblins after her.
Played it for years. Forces of Nature/Freaks of Nature. We rolled everybody on Lance.
OMG those graphics cant believe i was in love with mmo's back then. I did play DaoC but not sure what came out that made me quit
i played daoc on the bors server and as a midgard was so much fun
I have a confession:
The very first time I heard about DAoC was in this forum, like a couple of months ago. I'm not that young and I did played UO hardcoely, but I really never heard about DAoC before. LOL
I played it back in the day. I never did he Realm vs Realm though (like I probably won't do much in ESO)
The game is still going and I think has a free 14 day trial. May be something to fill the couple weeks while waiting for ESO
Midgard Merlin represent yay!
oh TOA, why did you have to ruin something so good, even though it added some nifty pvp skills.
I much prefer the grind mobs for xp(usually in groups) vs the run around solo completing quests.
That character's armor is extremely pitch black. It looks like a walking shadow
I'd still be playing DAoC today if I had a static group that played. The problem with playing with the same small static group for a decade, is that eventually everyone grows up and you realize you're the only one left playing video games
Looks like GW2/ESO pvp.
ranged groups pressing hotkeys at each other
Merlin Hibbie mentalist, loved running the frontiers in gank groups. This AvA is the closest to DAoC that I've seen since...
