Anyone here remember the Twisted Metal games?

• Twisted Metal (2012)

I loved this franchise ever since I first received the second on Christmas morning in 1997. Everything about it was so awesome, the cars, the explosions, the stories, the competition, everything! It pains me to see it go away after the issues TMX (that is, the newest one) had with networking and sales. It is still a solid title with some traction in the market, though, the car-combat genre has become even more of a niche in recent years. Which is why I am excited to see Cel Damage get an HD reboot, interest may be peaked in the genre once again as even FPS are beginning to see a demand for vehicular combat (see: Titalfall, Battlefield). Twisted Metal, Sony's longest running franchise, may still live! Sweet Tooth lives forever!

Anyways, anyone willing to discuss anything Twisted Metal, here's a cozy spot to hold nostalgia for the series in.

I was never fan of Twisted Metal.

Cel Damage, on the other hand.. When is the HD reboot coming out?

I had Twisted Metal for the PSX, but Vigilante 8 was better.

I really liked Twisted Metal 2 when I was younger, but I don't think the sequels were as good.

The Cel Damage reboot comes out next week on Tuesday, in fact.

Played a lot of Twisted Metal with roommates in college. Good times.

Twisted was always my favorite game to play with multiple players.
