Anyone running Quad-SLI?

I recently built a new pc, with 2xGTX690 (Quad SLI), getting ready for the next gen of console conversions. So I thought Crysis 3 would be the first current title to make good use of the extra oomph but I haven't been able to get it to run very well. With everything maxed out I'm only getting 40fps. That's at 1920x1080 without any downsampling.

I've read about (and experienced) titles not scaling very well to the extra hardware which I understand, but so far I've not had any instances where the software actually runs worse than a single GTX 690 until now.

I've checked everything is set up correctly, and I'm getting 150fps on extreme in the Unigine benchmark which is my testbed marker.

I've installed the latest Nvidia drivers (xxx.96 I think), and played around with Nvidia inspector and everything looks like it should but no dice.

Any advice? Is this something that has been tested at Crytek or am I in uncharted waters? When I get home I'm going to have a look at my motherboard bios but tbh I don't think that'll solve it.

Thanks
