I decided a long time ago that I'd play a Breton (at least at first), and never even thought about alliance, because it was just a given that if you were a Breton, you'd be playing Daggerfall Covenant. With the pre-purchase perk of playing any alliance with any race, it brings up an interesting question.

How many will play a non-standard alliance with their chosen race? What Race? What Alliance?

For myself, I definitely will give it some thought. I'm kind of torn between DC and AD with my Breton now. Not decided though.

Not for my main. Khajiit and aldmeri, further reinforced by the fact that queen ayrenn was kicking some serious demon [censored] in the new video =P

To be honest I am not sure I'll change. See at first I was all for Ebonheart. I still like Ebonheart, but after playing AD I kind of like it there. I could roll an Altmer and go EH, but I actually like the storylines for AD. So might just end up sticking with AD and rolling a Dunmer with EH as an alt.

I'll be playing an Argonian.

There is no way I ally myself with Dunmer scum. Already making my way towards Daggerfall.

Think about it, the majority of your egg brothers will be in Ebonheart, so you'll end up killing too many.

I will not fight alongside the Dunmer who have enslaved my family members, and who will just continue to do so during this "alliance". I am saddened that my brothers are settling for this alliance of convienence. I will try my best to spread the word to fellow Argonians to see the error of their ways and desert the pact. If a few brainwashed Argonians must feel the pierce of my arrow, so be it.

Gameplay wise, I really have never played an MMO before, so I'm not sure how most of it plays out. For the most part, I'll be letting the alliance war run its course, while I avoid most of the major conflicts. Once in a while I'll try assassinate solo Dunmer if that is possible.

Not switching alliances because I didn't give a stuff for any of the alliances in the first place. This redguard cares only for Hammerfell.
