Anyone want hidden bosses?

Yes. JRPG's do this extremely well. I would love to see this in Skyrim.

I hope we run across a "The Hobbit" Easter Egg, a huge dragon sitting atop thousands of gold in a cave.
That'd be awesome.

skyrim would lend it self to certain hidden bosses

a yeti/wampa type creature in a cave high in the mountains
a powerful dragon with a hoard (a la hobbit)
a Grendel type monster that terrorises a village (could be a myth inspired side quest perhaps)
a seamonster that attacks ships (from Eric the viking)
a troll under a bridge

etc etc

I remember the first time I faced this guy, thought the party was hard as nails after fighting their way to him. Butchery it was.
One or two of this sort of thing, really well hidden, would be fine, especially if the radiant story had a few places they could be, so you would need to search again on your second playthrough.

I would like to see hidden bosses in skyrim. The problem I have with hidden bosses is they are not hidden for very long. Before long everyone knows where the hidden boss is how to beat it and etc. I know you cant fix that but it would be more fun if they stayed hidden.

As long as they make them proper bosses. Dregas Volar was fairly well hidden in Morrowind, but the fight was so simple you may not have noticed it wasn't just a dremora lord until the fight was already over - if at all, considering you didn't get to loot the body normally.

Hm, I'd rather have them being quest-related or easter-eggy, at the bottom of a cave with a dumb name or having a funny item with them.

With the game's random nature I believe we kind of have something like that with the dragons. I know it's far from being the same, but random bosses could be deemed a rough equivalent, I suppose.

They could just place them randomly in the dungeons, like the random events in F3, just have them random in the few hard to find high level dungeons. Also what I liked about the jrpg hidden bosses is that they so powerful usually there no cheap tactic to learn to beat them (like standing on the rock shooting arrows for an hour to beat Umbra in MW), you just need a high level character and loads of potions/items, and even then survivial isn't garenteed.

I'm hoping for a giant, horned, white wolf with tattos and blood all over its body to roam the mountains charging after travelers...

As much as I would like this, it won't work if they don't "feel" like bosses. The problem with past games is that every enemy felt the same when you fought them. There were no real bosses.

I know this game aims to improve combat (and I hope to god it succeeds), and that should hopefully help a lot with this problem, but bosses need to feel like unique battles and not slightly larger normal enemies with more health. What we've seen with Dragons gives me hope though.

Oh and Beth, I know you may never use this despite the fact most games do it already but: boss battle music please

With one character woh can't see it ;) Man, I though I was the only one who saw that movie!

As to the OP, not sure if it was in th eTIE mod, but I ran into a few "titans", the first of which kicked my ass! Loved them :)
