Anyone want hidden bosses?

Post » Wed Mar 09, 2011 4:35 am

Does anyone want there to be secret bosses hidden in some remote parts of Skyrim that is hard to find? I would like there to be a few that you need to be around level 40-50 to stand even a chance to defeat, and they could be guarding/using the best (base or uniquely enchanted) weapons in the game. Maybe one for each weapon type or one for each spell type by learning it from a book they have on them. Or just an extremely hard dragon guarding a fortune. What kind of hidden bosses would you like to see (if any)?

A wild SNORLAX appears!

I don't see how it could be a bad thing. The more hidden material including enemies the better!

Ya that sounds good. A good one would be that death bunny form Quest for the Holy Grail. It look like http://www.google.com/imgres?imgurl=http://monty-python-and-the-holy-grail.com/images/cast/monty_python_holy_grail_evil_bunny_attack.png&imgrefurl=http://monty-python-and-the-holy-grail.com/cast/michael_palin.html&usg=__P7MEEhOe7WpzCbjcRdDY6L-4f-k=&h=352&w=640&sz=202&hl=en&start=0&zoom=1&tbnid=rO3jUXw3Ps4MRM:&tbnh=100&tbnw=181&ei=7aGgTbODMIuN0QHT3K2RBQ&prev=/images%3Fq%3Ddeath%2Bbunny%2Bquest%2Bfor%2Bthe%2Bholy%2Bgrail%26um%3D1%26hl%3Den%26sa%3DN%26biw%3D1920%26bih%3D979%26tbm%3Disch&um=1&itbs=1&iact=hc&vpx=300&vpy=247&dur=1175&hovh=166&hovw=303&tx=189&ty=97&oei=7aGgTbODMIuN0QHT3K2RBQ&page=1&ndsp=66&ved=1t:429,r:11,s:0

The dragons are awesome and all, but I want some more huge bosses in this game. Elder Scrolls games always lacked interesting bosses I think. In fact, most of them don't even seem like bosses.

Yes! I love this concept, and wish it was used more.

And if you play on PC, it's a straightforward but fun concept for mods...

Hmmm,A real hardcoe dragon would be good, something akin to F.F when you took on Ultimite weapon,or whatever I was, just in case a normal dragon got too easy, maybe.

Having it in a cave like in The Hobbit would be a nice nod to the book....

What like Sephiroth in Kingdom Hearts 2? Maybe one or two, but no more than that.

Yeah!! Bring'em on!

Something challenging for my demi-god to search for. Something ubercrazy strong. Not a pushover like the Uderfrykte Matron or the Giant Mudcrab.

Sure, why not? I would like it if Dragons are not the only huge enemies you run from.

Morrowind Umbra was great. If you weren't good enough, he gutted you.

Oblivion Umbra was too easy...

Some bosses just shouldn't be leveled at all. Is it frustrating when they kill you in one/two hits? No... just shows you how much further you have to go...

Having Amazing (unleveled) bosses which are way better than you keep the game interesting because it gives you a run for your money... even when you're dispatching regular monsters with ease. It gives the game more dimensions.

I'm not sure since I've never played KH2, but most jrpg's have them (I'm a fan of the "Tales of" games myself), some secret boss not normally found that you must usually jump through a few hoops through the game in order to be able to fight, that end up having like twice the health as the final boss, but drop some uber weapon if you are able to defeat them. One of the few things I think would transfer very well from jrpg's to wrpg's. Umbra could fit into this category if done right. I'd also like to see one made from an H.P. Lovecraft reference, maybe Nyarathotep.

I would love this so much. Random challenges, some located in remote dungeons but in particular found in well-off-the-road places would be sublime.

yessir, I have always loved this idea. kinda like how Diablo 2 does it, there are usually special/unique monsters in dungeons that have higher drop rates for rare items.
Since it doesn't work the same way in TES, the bosses should be protecting or using different types of rare items, it would even make them more powerful :).
