It's such a shame how just four years ago, "Normal FPS" meant Counter Strike. Y'know, back when EXP and Levels were RPG-only (and thus talking about them in public was frowned upon).



This too. Everyone who's ever glanced at Counter Strike knows that Search and Destroy is an exact clone of Counter Strike, just with Call of Duty weapons and maps. Regardless, the gameplay is attributed to Call of Duty.

I've posted on this forum time and again, but BRINK is fighting to break away from the CoD standards of today. Coming here asking if BRINK will be more CoD-like is a complete refusal to acknowledge BRINK's fight, and is a direct insult to BRINK.

No to TDM. More missions yes. More modes no.

More objective based missions could be fun, like one where both teams need to attack objectives, like both teams need to HE Charge something deep in the enemy's base. Both sides are attacking AND defending, which I think would do well with BRINK.

Seriously, why do you want this game to be played only by 100 when it could be 1.000 ( just an example). Stop, running around and saying no to every suggestion with the same maxim. It`s not like you do have to play these modes or whatever is suggested. There are several other FPS with modes like TDM, CTF, Conquest, Rush or whatever they`re called. And yes, you can fit some of these modes into a teamoriented gameplay.

I'd rather have 100 happy players than 100 happy and 900 Call of Duty-inspired players who revert BRINK back to Call of Duty standards - Exactly the opposite of BRINK's main idea.

K, so you`re online-experience will be slight due to playing with the same guys and the same mode again and again. Good Choice!

I want a Team Deatmatch and a Capture the Flag in Unreal Tournament Style.Some missions are similiar like a CtF but its only a short part in that mission.A pure CtF will give the game alot.I think that will be great.
By TD i think a deathmatch with only 1 life and like a hardcoe mode will be great.Then all have to use the medics and the ammo very smart to stay alive and i think that will be very very interesting and super exciting.

I want more game modes...the Free Play is the exact same as the Campaign. It's kinda hard to get out of the repetition seeing as how the Resistance missions are just you starting on their side of the same map that Security's campaign mission is on..and vice versa.

Id rather have more objective based, multi-leveled maps.

The fact that you jump on hear thinking you are going to get the light bulb for suggesting the "TDM" and "Domination" game modes is completely and utterly absurd in every manner you can think. What you just did was, you slapped us. Brink is BRINK. I remember a day where when you thought of FPS, you got CS or QW, hell maybe even TFC. Now its the "CoD" community. I remembered when CoD was a good game back in the day, where there really was no Spy planes or Grim Reapers.

P.S. While we are at it, lets add Founder Zombies as a gamemode whilist we are at it.
