Anyone With a 5870 in Crossfire ...

Post » Thu Dec 31, 2009 12:45 am

Hi. I am curious to know what kind of performance you are getting with this setup. I currently have it and I tend to drop to the low 30's at some instances when I am outside. Is this normal? If so then that is fine but if not then I would like to know what other people are getting. Thanks for the help !

Well actually I had those. I recently updated to the 11.4 Preview drivers. Do you think I should revert back?

Thanks as always.

I have been having flickering with both drivers. Ahh what a noob mistake I forgot about Driver Sweep. I'll try that and reinstall. But if i get all of that done and working, would you happen to know the kind of performance I should be receiving with my setup? I usually know what it should be but some people on the board have been saying they get between 60-90 fps so I wanted to be sure. Thanks again!

i would just disable xfire. one 5870 is WAY more than enough for C2.

Not when you are running Eyefinity @6048x1200. Plus I paid for these cards and I want to use them.

Those CAP's seem to be for the Steam version only. I tried them to and it didn't work. Guess we'll have to wait for a retail patch. Atleast AMD has something out to help users. Havent really played because of the flickering so i'm sure AMD will have the new CAP out.
