That would be like taking a major step down.

I was toying with the idea. Then I realized, if I did that, I'd not really enjoy the game as much. I'm a control freak with gaming, between my Nostromo and Naga, I have 22 buttons for my thumbs alone. Also just upgraded my graphics card. Additionally, I can probably preload the game on Steam. I start a 4 day weekend 11/11/11, so I want to get it at midnight, without having to go to a midnight release.

I'm actually getting it for both with the idea of passing my PS3 on to someone one day. I just read a tweet by Pete that he watched Todd playing for a while today and didn't realize he was on PS3. That made me feel good. I'll mostly be using my PC though.

Not sure I understand why, if you have a gaming pc you would buy it for the console instead...kinda defeats the purpose of having the gaming pc in the first place doesn't it?

I am gonna get it for Xbox 360 even though my laptop could run it on High settings. Gonna give the game to a friend or something. I am gonna wait till GoTY comes out and there are many more varieties of Mods available before getting it for PC. By then I might even have a better PC and can get some graphical mods for it.

I don't own a PS3 or Xbox, but I would buy if for anything but PC. having played OB on all systems, i prefer PC for controls alone. I am too used to KBM to go to a thumbstick and relatively few buttons.

Mods are just overkill for decision making for myself.

Nope, my PS3 freezes a lot and it's annoying. Also I can't move around with my PS3 like I can with my laptop.

I don't know if you could call this a gaming PC. It can play The Sims 3, but that's the only game I use this for.

For me there is nothing positive about the console versions for this game.

PC has better graphics and is modable.

Some people will argue that with consoles you can relax in your couch with a big HD TV.

But fortunaly for me, that is also no problem. since my computer is connected to my nice 40 inch 1080p TV :D
And add a microsoft xbox wireless reciever and you have the same comfy experience with the abilities of an PC.

I only use my consoles for exclusives or to watch blue ray movies.

I have a friend that's doing this and it angered me greatly. I tried to reason with him but he's unreasonable.

He's never used a mod in his life, he can't even name one. Yet when I brought up the idea of modding improvements, he said, "MODS ONLY RUIN THE GAME!" He makes me so angry. And sad. :cryvaultboy:
