I'm searching for the Word Walls to finish my shouts, and the last place the greybeards sent me was Folgunthur. Problem is, I completed that quest more than 20 levels ago and must have sold the Ivory Claw without actually going beyond the final boss to find the Word Wall. I tried going back, and was able to Whirlwind across the draw bridge, but the last gates beyond the final boss were secured by the Ivory Claw as well. (I'm not going to reload back to that place and time)

Any way I can get to that room, or get another claw, or come in the back door (lol) ... or [gulp]... I don't suppose there's a console code available?

Addtional problem to all this is that the Greybeards won't tell me where the next wall is without completing this one!

If your playing on console there's no way of getting it back that I know .

PC, you might be able to use console commands.

Bethesda is very keen on giving you reasons to stop playing and start over or stop playing.

You may have to hit up all the potential merchants you sold it to. They still have it.

Buy it back from the grubby ones. (merchants)

and still people want to be able to drop all quest items

You should just collect all the claws you come across anyway. My Imperial has his Soltiude home displaying a Diamond, Ebony, Coral and another claw I forget what it's called. Still have the Ivory claw in my inventory. Need to finish the quest so I can put it with the rest of them.
