I need to get on top of the college of winterhold anyway to get up there?

also is there anyway to get someone off the roof from below?

just climb the stairs until you reach the top ...

Why is there someone on top of the roof? lol You can get to the wall from inside the college, any of the rooms allow you to go upstairs until you hit the top of the wall. That is where I fight the dragons from usually to avoid getting people below killed. not sure about the roof of the main building itself though.

Why do you "need" to get up there? If a quest is taking you there, then there is a way, so find it on your own.

As for getting someone down, try using Fus Ro Dah.

Well I've ran into a glitch and I think Tolfdir is up there.... I do need to find out how to get up there if I don't need to finish the College quest line
