Anyway to increase overall volume?

Skyrim seems to not be quite as loud as my other games. Any way to increase the overall sound? I already have the master volume setting within the game all the way up.

I had the same issue.
I'm on the XBOX 360.
I set Master vol to max.
Anything effect related to max and music about mid way.
That way I could hear all the crickets, birds, wind, and any OTHER ambient sound.
Truly made the game better.
I guess some TV's pick things up better and obviously a sound system would help.

Is there a way to have my computer increase the volume for a specific application?
