Anyway to reset an NPC's dialogue?

Post » Thu Aug 18, 2011 6:21 pm

So, I have a bit of a problem. I accidentally reset a quest. The Wasteland Survival quest because I did a part of it wrong so I wanted to start it again. It was a mistake because now I can't start the quest again because the only way to start it is when Moira Brown introduces herself for the first time. Is there any possible console command that can reset her dialogue so that she introduces herself as if we have never met? I really need help with this. I've been searching around for a command for ages but so far I haven't found one.

I reset the quest. The problem is that I can't actually get it to trigger again because it only triggers when you first initiate dialogue with Moira. I need somthing that resets the NPC's greeting. Not somthing that resets the quest.

That's what the setstage is for. Quests are formed by scripts, stages and dialogue. Stages mark each phase in a quest, usually just new objectives.
