Apartments : Fallout: New Vegas

Hello there, I am pretty new to New Vegas. I was wondering if there was any sort of place one can buy and decorate similar to what you could co in FO3? So far, I have not seen anything that offers this is as a possibility. It was nice to have a place to retreat to that had a safe and all so could store your stuff. If anyone has any ideas on where I may be able buy a place please let me know...

Yes, there is.

When you get to the Lucky 38, Mr. House will give you a nice apartment that you can customise to a certain extent. There are several non-customisable places that you can rent/are given. I think the motel room in Novac is the earliest one you will find if you follow the main quest line.
