Ape-men and Slug-men and Snake-men!

Maybe Skyrim's story will reveal what happened to the Dwemer? It'd be a great opportunity since the next games probably won't take place in Dwemer regions. Maybe even reintroduce them to the world - perhaps they just went away because of some connection to the series of events in TES. I'm not sure I'd want that much, but maybe in the next installment, if it takes place before the first five games.

Well....crap their extinct.

But yeah this!

remember, its impossile to know if they are really all dead (they could be hiding in blacmarsh [their original home,i think], like the falmer hiding in skyrim.)

we may get them in tes: (insert numeral here) blackmarsh

Hehe, I was thinking between the Dwemer and the Tsaesci:) I voted for the first. Because I would really like to see more from the dwemer technology, would love to be a dwemer technician or something.
The Tsaesci on the other hand are very mythical and dangerous. These two races really got my attention:)

Maormer are the most reasonable, seeing as how the Wolf Queen made communications with them and even planned an attack with them, they would have to do a lot of svcking up to be excepted in Tamriel though, or maybe like a splinter group from the original kingdom of Maormer looking to take refuge in Tamriel. They should have like a high bonus to Illusion and 1h weapons, seeing as they are war like and their skin is that of a chameleons.

Of course, TES will more than likely never add another playable race with the exception of Orcs and Imperials, although they were already native to Tamriel

Well, Orcs where added even when they got no homeland. And the "real" Khajiit did not come untill Daggerfall. In Arena they where just humans who was big Khajiit-fans.
Imperials came in Morrowind. I say, i's about time they gave us a new race. :)

Sea Elves are probobly native to Tamriel. And now that the Aldmeri Dominion is back maybe they return and become part of it? But then again, they left after the War of the Iles when the other Elves and the Empire drove them out (thanks to Wolf Queen tricking them in to war with their former allies) and no word has been heard from them for 300-500 years so maybe they are not welcome in Tamriel anymore?

On another note, Tsaesci Snake men are still supose to live in Tamriel.

I'd want to play as a Limilitolitilit for two reasons.
1. The beasts need more races! (Ok, maybe not NEED, but it'd be pretty cool! :D ) Think about it. men have four races (Nords, Imperials, Bretons, and Redguards) elves have four races ( High, Wood, Orc, and Dark) But beasts only have two! (Khajiit, Argonian) It'd be cool to play as, or even see the others.

2. Foxes are cool. ^_^

Too bad they're extinct... :sadvaultboy:

They became the skin of a Big Stompy Robot in a botched attempt at gestalt godhood.

I chose the Falmer because they are the most lore-friendly imo. But well, the ones I would have added would rather have been Giants or Goblins.

In fact, I wouldn't consider adding a playable race as a bad idea, provided it is prepared in a previous game. For example, if in some DLC for Skyrim, some treatise is to be signed with a Dreugh underwater kingdom, so that the sailors can navigate safely on the Sea of Ghosts, then the Dreugh could be playable in TES VI. Or if Goblins the Empire recognizes Goblins as full citizen after they helped the Empire to win a battle, then the Goblins could be a playable race. Or if in Skyrim, Or if some quest in Skyrim allows you to help a ravished Spriggan to obtain justice by sentencing the criminals in a Skyrim court, then the resulting shift in jurisprudentia could make the Spriggans de facto full citizen of the Empire by rights, so that they could become a playable race.

My point is the following ; for a race to be added to the playable ones, there should be reasons, lore-wise, to do it...

belived to be extinct, just like the dwemer are belived to be extinct (which they were not in morrowind, possible not in oblivion, no idea in skyrim)

they could always be hiding out somewhere (falmer were thought to have died out but they are in skyrim, apperently)

I find your name ironic.

The dwemer ARE extinct (despite yagurm who is corprus ridden) they were all absorbed to make their techno god's skin.

Bud you real are grasping at straws here....

The Aldmer, for some reason I think that would be the coolest. Even though their descendants are not a race I typically play.

That list is full of good choices though, tough call.

if there is one left they are not extinct (its the verge of extinction, but dwmer will most likely be extinct in skyrim)

and yes i am, i do hope we get a new, great, race (which is not all that hard to belive since falmer are makeing a return, we just cant play as them)

Oh yeah, and I vote for the imga, simply because they're neither extinct, nor violently opposed to the currently playable races.

Why not Kothringi, after all. Perhaps some Dragon break will allow people who lived in the past to vanish from the past and wake up today... :hubbahubba:
