My brother has linked me to a few of their covers before. They are amazing to say the least.

I love just about any classical form of a song though :P

I love Apocalyptica. Their songs are just great. My personal favorite would have to be Quutamo. They also did a cover of David Bowie's "Heroes" with the lead singer from Rammstein doing the vocals; that was pretty good as well.

Saw them live in Richmond, VA about a month and a half ago. Great show for how much it cost (like $20). Basically played for 2+ hours straight with a small break to introduce each other. It was a good mix of original things and covers (to keep the less informed about them interested). The only bad part was the drunk lady who, I swear, was about to fall over the balcony for half the show.

They're there in my "really alternative metal" genre with Van Canto.

I like them. I first heard them years ago, when all they really put out was Metallica covers. I know the did at least one Sepultura cover. There original stuff is good as well. I think the stuff I've heard from their new album is pretty killer.

Sounds like nails on a blackboard.

That's a rather far off statement, considering nails on a blackboard sound like http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YbTsebLs7yU&feature=related

I like 'em. I like symphonic music, and I like metal. Hell, why don't you combine them? More proof that Finland kicks ass when it comes to music.

Also, my friend has a crush on the blonde one. Can't say I blame her.

I love those guys. I have all of their albums.

I saw them once at a concert. They were at Quebec's Summer Festival, opening the show before Rammstein went on stage. They were pretty awesome. :D
Plus, I was flabbergasted when, later during Rammstein's show, Apocalyptica arrived on stage during Haifish and played with them. Their cellos added an extra melody to Rammstein's song.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5QyoopAi7So when they played Haifish with Rammstein.

I heard about these guys a while back, when all they seemed to do was cover Metallica songs (and a few other bands). Some of the covers are pretty entertaining, and pretty good, too. This new, original stuff they're doing is rubbish though.

Saw them at Graspop in... 2008 I think. Excellent show. Haven't listened to them much since though. I really like most of their covers, but all of their original stuff I've heard varied between boring and really bad.

Four frustrated guitarists. :violin: :D Seriously, I think that was cool. :goodjob: Check out Hans Zimmer, The Dark Knight Live on Youtube, I think you might like it.
