I still cannot open the game on my iPhone. I do not even get to the Vault selection screen as the crash happens before.

I hoped that the new update would fix this crashing issue but it looks like this is not the case.
The worst thing about this is the support people get. There seems to be no communication between Bethesda/Development/Community Manager and the community.
Before the Forum was re-organized there were so many postings about crashes and I couldn't find a single useful answer or comment made by Bethesda. As this game also contains an option to spend real money (and people seem to have lost items the've bought) this is not only a bad way of handling customer relationship - in my opinion this is inacceptable.
So would it be possible to get a Statement about the issues with the crashes from the development team/someone from Bethesda or do I have to avoid buying Bethesda products in future?
