So i ran across two guys named Art laying into each other until one of them finally kills the other. Kind of weird but ok. The lone surviving Art doesn't really want to talk about what that was all about but says something off handed about it wearing his face. So, cool, that was a 3rd gen synth? I wonder if there is some tattle tell sign about it... so i decided to blow the corpses head off to see if it was all robot-y underneath the plastic shell. First off, nope. just a regular old gore fountain and mutilated body. Second off, Curie hated that i did that. Guess all her talk of science and medicine is just for show. Also, does this mean the 3rd gens are basically custom grown biological entities and not really robots at all?

Or.. you missed the start of the event. As for curie, she could have been hit with splash damage.

Anywho you can always just loot them for their synth component to find out if they're a synth or not.

I fast traveled and was dropped between the two Arts going at it, they only hit each other though and never explained their hostilities. I assumed Human Art won and the body was Synth Art since Curie disliked me popping a 10mm into the head to see what the internals looked like and she has a soft spot for robots. I do hope the game goes into what the 3rds are later but the whole thing was amusing to me so i shared.

As I said, all you have to do is loot them. If they have a synth component, they're a synth.

Probably a glitch, she hates when you murder. So it probably registered blowing his head off as killing him.

Yeah Curie hates violence. She might just have associated you as being a psycho after blowing his head off.
