I fought a Dragon Priest, and it managed to get a frost spike in me - a long one, at that - and now it doesn't want to go away. I have restarted the game. Nothing.
Will I be impaled on this ice spike for the rest of my life?

I was permanently impaled by an arrow, it disappeared after a while... EG a few loading screens.

Nice! Have you tried melting it my standing over a forge? LOL Honestly, I have not experienced that myself. However, I have had times when I have enemy arrows still stuck in my face when I've dropped them. I found that I had to drop them all in order to get rid of them, but the ice spike is a mystery to me. Weird.

Lydia had the same problem, I had a similar problem with an arrow. I just ignored it, so I don't remember when it went away, but I think it was a few hours of real life gametime.

Me too took a few hours of play time until it went away

there isnt anyway to be rid as far as i know save exit and go back in if its still there then just igore it and it will go and bother someone else sooner or later

Open up the console and type sixchange, do it twice to change then change back.. it'll fix this annoying bug

1: Find Bandit Camp
2: Invite the archers to a few rounds of target practice.
There is no 6.
7: Profit

If you're a werewolf, just change once and it'll be gone.
