As far as i'm concerned, anyone willing to spend anywhere between $400-900 for an Apple product, then repay that same price for a slightly upgraded version 8 months later is [censored], or lucky enough to have tonnes of extra money.

About 2/3 of the people on the pc tech sites are among them. Pawning off their Geforce 400s because the 500s came out. There was a guy who bought 4 5870s to run in quad xfire back in 2009.

Graphics cards have clear, definable differences in capabilities between them. To run the latest games on the best possible settings, for the best possible gaming experiences, or best experience with rendering softwares, these are almost a must for upgrades.

Half the Apple product upgrades add something so minimal you could not possibly warrant another $600.00 purchase. I remember when the iPod touch came out way back when. Jesus christ. People were going nuts over the newer ones with slightly nicer features to them, and that thing cost like $450.00... And the second version came out like.. 7 months after the first iPod touch.

I could never imagine spending that much on any shape//form of an MP3 player or video player, nevermind doing it multiple times.

I only got one thing to say to Apple svckers.

I spent 1/3 the money, got a PSP with CFW, and I can play music, videos, go online, AND play games that don't svck [points at 99.99% of Apples APP store]

They are doing it to get from 100fps to 120fps. I explicitly said that they went from the 400s to the 500s. What game would render a gtx480 insufficient? And 4x crossfire is a total waste of money,

I wish for 5 years all new cell phones, MP3 players, cameras, DVD players, etc would stop being made and we would have to cope with what we have then in 5 years we get the next generation and stick with that for 5 years, instead of constantly getting little knick knacks that only fix minor things, all it does is waste money and create a bunch of waste.
