application failed to initialize properly

I guess I should repost it again, because it seems my problem gone unnoticed.

Hi, I've just bought a copy of Crysis 2, installed it, but can't run it.
Crysis2Launcher runs EACoreServer and it crashes with MSVC++ error, however I installed redist from DVD and have last msvc redist dlls in my system32 folder.
I tried to manually run EACoreServer and it starts but does nothing (just exists as idle process).
Running Crysis2.exe gives me "The application failed to initialize properly" error.

I have Windows XP installed, I also played crysis2 multiplayer demo (btw, there were also problems with ea executables, but game's exe worked ok without them), and today I deleted mp demo (didn't find an uninstall... just deleted the folder).

why can't i run crysis2.exe?

Activation.exe also summons the same crash.
I had to temporarily replace bin32 folder with the pirated version and singleplayer works like a charm.
But it is really annoying that I bought a real game copy in the shop and have to use such methods. Also it is impossible to use multiplayer with that binaries. Patch 1.2 didn't help me too.
