Post » Mon Aug 24, 2009 8:35 pm

At my school we have smartboard projectors and my teacher always has the homework assignment on the bottom. Today it said no homework. Stupid me, i was so excited and then she goes HAHA APRIL FOOLS! Wanted to punch the damn women in the face :P.

Another April Fools joke, I noticed it when I was using Google Voice and I don't think anyone has posted it yet.

Everybody in the entire world has already been to Google's main page and clicked the logo. :P

My google logo stayed the same today. It wasn't even clickable. And I'm using the google.com URL just so I can get the different logos when they change them! (If I use .com.mt for the maltese version, the logo never changes, for some reason).

I wonder, did Google's search timer always give... odd answers?

(2.00 shakes of a lamb's tail)
(0.14 centons)
(1.21 gigawatts)
(11.90 parsecs)
(0.13 microfortnights)
(0.02 femtogalactic years)
(at warp 8.91)
(0.67e-15 epochs)
(23.00 skidoo)
(0.04 nanocenturies)
(0.46 times the velocity of an unladen swallow)
(0.14 centibeats)
(0.23 microweeks)

Maybe I just don't pay attention thought and they've been there awhile?

How do some of these even like.... a parsec is a physical length measurement.... Length of time can be measured in meters and yards now?!

Edit: Hell I'm gonna go measure how tall I am in liters.

I thought Leydenne did a great job pretending to be Dogsbody with One Over - hopefully she had better luck fooling people!

She certainly fooled me. I like to think Dogsbody gave her a list titled "[censored] the forumers might ask about".

I definitely agree! I was convinced One Over was Dogsbody. Infact, I think I mentioned that in a thread.

I love the reference to Monty Python...

Anyways I just randomly googled something and got

(0.43e+43 Planck times)
and
(0.20 microfortnights)

I wonder if you can somehow convert all of these figures to one another in some magical google science...

Yasgur - Schembechler
princess_stomper - Frail Spool
Attrebus - All proof Is
summer - Floorpail
Rohugh - Ducal Derby
Ratar - King Kicker
Dogsbody - Clo the Cow
Leydenne - One Over
Hungry Donner - Essequibo

Hungry Donner always did strike me as an Essequibo.

I managed to get everyone wrong. <_< I was convinced Princess Stomper was King Kicker. I should have realised it was too obvious.

xkcd made my day. when typing sudo apt-get upgrade while using IE you get a link to http://abetterbrowser.org/

Here is the http://github.com/chromakode/xkcdfools/blob/master/xkcd_cli.js responsible for all the fun (so you can see what is all in there)

We have an uncountable amount of inside jokes here at BGSF, you're better off not knowing.

It was bugged yesterday; it was sending me to that page even though I was running Firefox 3.6 :( . It's better now, though.

I was a fan of the "goto" response.
