I've got Kinemortophobia, but that doesn't stop me from wanting to cave those zombies faces in.

I don't understand why people complain about something that's in-game and actually induces an actual emotion. They're are very few games that actually affect me on any level emotionally, and am grateful every time one does.

It was sad how many people were so afraid of Spider Daedra that people had to make mods to removed them...

for one thing this forums is American language only. For another this has been disused. And the conclusion basically is they cannot remove content from the game just becasue you have a fear of spiders. if you hate it that much don't play.

Exactly how i feel. I wish something could scare me in a videogame as much as spiders scare some people... even half as much would be nice. Oblivion/Morrowind/Daggerfall rarely had me scared at all.

When a battle in a videogame actually makes my heart race it's a good thing... thats why i'm gonna love Battlefield 3, Battlefield does this really well what with the constant threat of snipers that are 2 miles away, tanks rolling over the hill ahead, mortar strikes, and helicopters. You can't even hide in buildings anymore in that series.

Morrowind and Oblivion, failed to really scare me most of the time... Though "the fear" isn't really the reason I play TES, but it would be a welcome addition.

Those posting spider pictures, that's not funny, at least not to me (But who cares about my opinion).

Anyway, OP, I'll make a mod for you, day one that will change the spider into a giant dog. Yeah, silly, but I have arachnophobia too, although not severe as yours, whether it be virtual or real, I get a horrid feeling, almost like an instinct to get away from it. Anyway, I won't change it for me, as I happen to like killing what I fear.

And if this is a troll, whatever.

for one thing this forums is American language only.

I wasn't going to post, but you sir are a disgrace. You said "American language." That's not very specific and also arbitrary. Do you mean Spanish (Castilian), Mandarin, Korean, Vietnamese, Japanese, or English, the language you posted in? I dislike grammar Nazis, but to aid the irony I'm trying to show, I'll continue.

"fFor one thing, this these forums is are American language English only."

You're post is grammatically incorrect which is funny because the basis of your post was that the OP should have posted in English(I assume that's the intended language) in order to be understood by everyone on the forum, yet your post is difficult to read because of the poor grammar.

More importantly, Arachnophobia means an http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/irrational fear of spiders. Read the definition of irrational. Be supportive or at least leave him alone. He is a fellow TES fan. Show some compassion.

EDIT: That's not funny to post pictures of spiders. Could you imagine him clicking on the image and seeing the spider, and then he starts hyperventilating? It's not a joke. This is serious. To those who posted pictures, you're being very ignorant and narcissistic. In other words, you're behaving like children.

Compassion is a really awesome thing in life.

Gizmo and Davor, thank you both for your tips to help my friend. I'm passing them along and I'm hoping something will work for her. She had to stop playing Oblivion because of the nausea and room spinning and she seems very interested in Skyrim but the motion sickness is too awful. Here's hoping these things work. Thank you both! :)

I have Arachnophobia, but I'm not scared of pictures of spiders, or spiders in video games.

Just real spiders, and even then it's more of a if I see a spider, I can't rest until I know for a fact it's dead. While I'm sorry that your fear of spiders won't allow you to enjoy Skyrim I don't believe spiders should be taken out just because of the fears of a small group of Arachnophobics.
