Good voice acting in this mod, that sixy voice at the start is driving me crazy...
And I did a real brainfart with the first clue and looked for a certain ruins at the *wrong* ring road. :banghead:

Haha, that voice is from our very own WhoGuru :foodndrink:

It's amazing what you can do with Audacity in terms of altering your voice. That gentlemen, much as it pains me, is not me! *gasp!* That is actually DarkRider!! Who's expert talents in voice acting and using Audacity have fooled everyone who's heard his voice in the dream sequence! He is in fact the voice of our Guardian as well! :foodndrink:

Of course, if you'd like to hear me, that's easy AND I can plug RST while I'm at it! Never miss a chance: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iMzHcP-Yy4s

LOTS of altering in Audacity. The Guardian's voice, which he also does, is more his normal range. Deep. He stunned the hell out of me the first time I heard the dream sequence voice!

The guardian was likely my fav part of the mod (not killing him but chatting)

Really? Rider did the VO for the dream sequence, even I didnt realise that....though I was properly told at some time or another

A Small bug was found:
Just for people to know, some have reported a small bug when they have had the sword equipped when levelling up, it was caused by an early idea that we forgot to remove. It just makes some of your stats a bit off (the sword fortfies them with an ability). The only time I know it might hurt you is if you have the sword equipped boosting strength up to 100, when I reality your strength if only at 90. TO aviod it just unequip the sword when you sleep to level up, the only mod way fix is to remove the fortify abilities.

I didnt post while the mod was unactive, but now seems to be a good time.

Well I know there it wasnt (yes I do check it from time to time), but this topic hadnt been updated in a while, and I didnt want to do it just to annonce you found a bug....

I must say, this mod is the most downloaded mod Ive ever worked on. Im so glad your there to help people Whoguru, I always have trouble keeping up with that.

EDIT: To the others out there, there is a small (sort of) spin off mod that I want to release soon, thats built off the same (well similar) code and randomated questline that Lost Sword uses. I just have to wait for my laptop to be fixed, please be this week.... there is not going to be a WIP thread, and Im not giving away any details. Its just a sort of reminder that we are still here...

I now finished the quest, using the previous version.
While it was fun, it felt a bit too much like a console or adventure game for me, with the glowing blue clue-scrolls.
Instead of making the sword leveled you should have made (unless you did in the current version) the final boss leveled. As it was I was expecting the mother of all beatings, so I used my most powerful scroll (my character svcks at Conjuration) to summon a Dremora and before I was finished quaffing shielding and feather potions, the Dremora had already killed that handsome skellie guy without breaking a sweat. The wraith too was too easy. My character was lvl 19.
The sword sure was nice, but it detoriates quite quicly and is horrendously expencsve to repair. After *one* battle it cost 5000 gold to repair it. So I guess it's designed for a warrior type with armourer skill, not for thieves and assassins.
Voice acting was *very* good in this mod.

OK, had the dream, visited 1st edition, vendor has nothing to say to me, I can't see any unusual book/scroll.

What next?

IIRC the book is located on the shelf behind the Vendor, take a look around that area and you should find it :)

Thanks for the tip at first edition

Beldaburo - can't find the clue - neither in Beldaburo, nor in Beldaburo Anga.

I play Ayleid Ruins Expanded 2.0 and 1.0 and one of them adds huge extension to Beldaburo if this is important...

Went everywhere, both levels... no clue...

Help again?

[spoiler]Your clue is actually outside the ruin, above the door. :D

Northwest of Anvil, by the sea
Beldaburo waits
by silent sentry on the roof
a verse to lead you straight.

WhoGuru, you got me twice - at First Edition and Beldaburo.

So, shame on me. Only, I strongly suspect this won't be the last time... :D

I like when the modder is smarter than I am :D

Right... just finished it... few hours after I wrote the things above... found the place and let me tell you - because I decided to play without enchantments for a change -
I received an utter merciless trashing... and died. loaded the save just before entering, equipped whatever enchanted items I had - only the circlets were 8, and may be 7-8 rings... and died.
Several times.
Cheated. And died.
Finally realized what to do... and ended it. I told you I am slow lately

And somehow I failed to mention this in the thread here. :lmao:

**If you are using the Unique Landscape-Arrius Creek, the tallest waterfall below the Belda ruins will be gone. Thanks to the UL team, there is now a patch. Please download the Lost Sword-Arrius Creek Patch here:
