remember Arcades?


I Don't know about other parts of the world (well except Japan, they are still big there from what i've learnt from Anime), but here in Canada, Arcades have become nearly non-existent..

we have one "Arcade" in the local mall, but it can't be called a real Arcade (like, 2 machines and one of those punching bags that gives you a score)..


in my youth, I loved Arcades.. going, fighting for the top score, pointing at a random person and saying "Hey, you, me, Mortal Kombat, Now!"..


now I know home gaming has become so convenient that is one of the reasons they are on the decline (that, and one of the main selling points of arcades was the machines were usually more advanced than home consoles, which is no longer true), but I miss that Nostalgic feeling of going and looking at the old tetris machine gathering dust in the corner of the arcade and going "yep, still got the highscore! I'm awesome!"
