So can anyone tell me how I can fire a bow in Daggerfall? I know this sounds stupid, but I'm having the hardest time figuring it out.
Any help will be appreciated. Thanks.

Do you have arrows equipped?

Afterwards, draw your bow. (you should see it now)

Then press the main fire button. (that you use to swing blades and other weapons)

Ya, it took me a heck of a time to figure it out myself. Basically, have ya bow equip (have ammo ready in ya inventory).

In combat, ready ya bow (Ready Weapon button) and press the (Switch Hand button) twice.

I'm still having trouble. Arrows are equipped and highlighted yellow in my inventory, and my character has an arrow drawn in his bow, but when I hit the main fire button nothing is happening.

Does it have to have an enemy targeted or what?

Did ya see the arrow leave the bow? As for targeting, its viewing the the foe in front of ya; these wooden arrows are actually homing missiles. Game of chances happens and ya might have miss'd and/or the fact ya have low skill on Archery.

For archery, you have to use the default (right mouse button) to attack. Remapping will not work for archery. But yea, just have arrows in your inventory (not your wagon!) and click right mouse to fire.

Still getting nothing, if my arrows are highlighted in my inventory that means that they're equipped and ready to fire, right?

That was it! I switched back to default controls (it said mouse2 for fire) and it worked. I had it mapped for something else.

Well that explains ALOT (I have been remapped my control for 2 years and I did not know that until now).
