Archery is always nice.

It's fun, especially when you get the power shot and quick shot perks.

As fun as magic and melee can be, nothing really beats archery. I mean, I love sniper games where I can pick off enemies from a far away distance.

Been a while since I played an archer.. I mostly play mages.

Almost all my characters use archery, I think only one of my recent characters doesn't use archery. Even when I use destruction I still like to use archery. There's nothing more satisfying than a bow killcam (Of course there's nothing more disappointing than a failed bow killcam :/).

Is it sad that I read that in Heimskr's voice? Or was that intended?

Bow all the way! similarly i stealth & snipe in the Fallout games, in TES, the bow Is like being a medieval sniper

I love being a sniper in games which have sniper rifles so in Skyrim I feel like a medieval sniper

All of my non-magic using characters use archery a lot. It is so much nicer killing "them" before they can even get close. Picking off their archers as their melee folks close is also a nice thing to do before switching up to melee weapons

Especially in cities. Playing with elevation is so fun!

I love archery in Skyrim. It is very well done. I don't want the game to just hand me the best gear either, so it is good that you start off with a weak (but fast) bow. I prefer fast bows to bows that do more damage but are slower to shoot. My favorite bow in the game is the foresworn bow for its combination of good speed and decent damage, especially when smithed, and it only needs the steel perk to smith twice as good.
