So I've got an archery character and I have the Quick Shot perk. I have this bug that even though Quick shot makes the draw speed animation longer, it does NOT actually decrease time needed for the shot to be fired. It still needs the same ammount of hold in time / draw time to fly straight as before. The only thing that has changed is the draw speed animation. It's the same with any bow, but painfully more obvious with the lighter bows. I can wait til the draw animation is done and even then some more, but the arrow will plop to my feet unless i keep holding it drawed for over a second AFTER the animation is done.

The wikis state something like this : "Sometimes if the player takes the perk Quick shot, the arrow will not travel very far despite the animation showing the arrow beeing completely pulled back. Loading a previous save will fix this."

But I have kept playing and saving the game for quite alot of time after getting the quick shot perk and getting this bug, so I no longer have a save from before that. Loading any other save of that character after quick shot, making a new one and loading that does NOT work. Bug still exists.

Some have suggested trying different bows, re equipping the items, etc. but none of it works.

After some time googling I have not been able to come up with a fix for this and it really ruins archery in this game for me.

Open the console, as described on http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Console

Type in the command

player.removeperk 00105F19

And hit enter.

Open the archery tree and make sure quick shot has been removed.

If it has, save the game and quit. (to ensure there's no left over data)

Restart the game and load the save.

Open the console and type

player.addperk 00105F19

Check the skill tree to make sure it's been added, then test it out. If there are still problems load the save and try again.
